The 2010 Season

We are interested in hearing from new players and new teams for next year.  If you are a company looking for a great team building activity or a village with a great community that are looking for something different or even a pub looking for a summer sport, get in touch.

What would we need?

A squad of about 14 players who are willing to play once a week for from late May to August. You will need a minimum of 3 females but the league is moving towards 50/50 male/female teams so the more women you have the better!

Players must be over 14 years old but after that, the older you are the more welcome you are :-)

A home pitch which would be a rugby field or cricket field.

In terms of costs, it will be about £2 per player, per game - so excellent value!!

BLUES

What the league desperately needs is proper umpires.  We are trying really hard but good umpiring would make a big difference to the standard of play and help players learn the rules more quickly.  If you are an experienced softball player and a qualified umpire living in the Swindon area, please contact us.  Subject to sponsorship we will pay £5 upwards per game.
